Inpu of the Rubric, eternal guardian of Magister Hurvald..
Inpu here is the 8th member of the small fellowship of Acolytes. He has been mildly put a very difficult build but I feel I achieved what I set out to do in the end which was a corrupt version of this iconic Blanche piece.
Since last time I’ve finished the ragged cloth, the extending of the shield and general tidying up.
Now to paint the beast and try to make that interesting enough!

Fantastic looking conversion and a great rendition of John’s artwork! I love the warrior’s breastplate and the power generator on his back. He looks like an insurmountable wall; a bastion against all that would stand before him! Perfect choice for the head too.
I am looking forward to seeing how you paint the model. Keep up the great work!
Thank you Adam, that was very good to hear that it comes across just by looking at him 🙂
Oh yes, better and better… are you going to stay faithful to the Blanche artwork with your colour pallet?
Cheers Alex! No it’ll be in the dark blue methinks 🙂
Oooh… sounds good 🙂
Great mate. Looks like it may have been challenging.
Cheers mate 🙂
Looking good – very much the brutish bodyguard a sorcerer would want to have. Any tips on how you made the tattered cloth from greenstuff – I’ve always found that quite hard to pull off.
Cheers mate! I just take a bit og greenstuff and pull it out to get those tatters. I then apply it to the model and let it cure a bit before I use a dentist tool or a knife to get better tatters and shape the cloth to get a realistic flow.
Yeah, that’s pretty much what I’ve been doing, but not with the aplomb of yourself. Ah well, practice makes perfect! 🙂
Indeed, it’s no simple solution in that sense 🙂
